Kitchen:

We are standing in the back corner of the kitchen, by the garage door. Jonathan is feeding the wood cookstove, which can effectively heat the kitchen. The stove sits on a makeshift ceramic tile floor area. The wall behind has a faux brick laminate surface, probably for fireproofing.

If you look carefully, you can see past the stove, the doorway to the dining room. Also note the small florescent light fixture on the ceiling.

Out of view, to our left is the back door. To our right is the pantry. And as said above, behind us is the door to the garage.
