This section was clearly added much later than the main sections of the house. These bays have dirt floor and no real foundation to speak of (wooden beams on cement blocks). I like the barn-like character of the horizontal sliding doors.

We've thought about just taking this whole section down and perhaps rebuilding it (same size and all?). In fact, if we finish off the garage bays to the right, then this could become the actual garage.
